Lots of people always ask me “Why is digital money interesting?” and “How is it valuable?” This is one of the reasons! China’s development of the digital yuan over the past couple of years has been really fascinating to watch. It shows the use case of how a Central Bank can use digital currency to control and manage currency flows. My guess is it will continue to evolve dramatically over the next couple of years.
